Where the Sea of Cortez meets the world's most extraordinary resort community
La Paz sits on the Sea of Cortez — Jacques Cousteau's "world's aquarium" — with 2.8 km of pristine Baja beaches. 350 days of sunshine, direct flights from Los Angeles, and the lowest crime rate in Mexico. International arrivals surged 194% between 2019 and 2024. This is the same gap that Cancún had in 1975.
A 72-second animated flythrough: the development mix, 5,000 Trilogy homes, Jack Nicklaus championship golf, the 200-slip marina, and the oceanfront hotel district.
1,754 acres of bayfront land independently appraised at $344 million USD. Fortress-level collateral protection at 21.8% loan-to-value.
500+ resort projects on six continents. 250+ design awards. EDSA's master plan for Cortez Bay integrates oceanfront hotels, residential villages, championship golf, a full-service marina, and Mexico's first integrated vertical farm.

Gabriel Robles-Velarde with Jack Nicklaus — "The Golden Bear" — ahead of Cortez Bay's Nicklaus Design golf course proposal
Nicklaus Design has submitted its formal design proposal for Cortez Bay: an 18-hole "Nicklaus Design" championship course led by a Senior Designer personally trained under Jack Nicklaus. The $750,000 design fee is staged across four milestones — 20% at signing, 20% at design commencement, 30% through plan documents, 30% through construction. Deliverables include the final routing and staking plan, strategy plan, full-color marketing rendering, grading and drainage plans, and green detail field books — with rights to the Nicklaus Design name and logo in all marketing, a dedicated Nicklaus.com project page, and membership in the Jack Nicklaus International Golf Club network.
A sealed-bid auction of 13 oceanfront hotel parcels, conducted by a world-renowned auction house. Target operators: Four Seasons, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Grupo Vidanta, Palace Resorts — brands that need expansion land no longer available in Los Cabos.
